RareBear is a timeless Reno Racer design. The modified F8F Bearcat has always been a personal favorite of mine. It lines up to the pylons as our first entry into the RCTV 30" Fun Racer Series ready to tear up the skies!
RCTV's 30" Fun Racer series is designed for the front yard, the park, the flying field, even indoors these will tear up the skies wherever you want to fly. While you can race them with friends and club members, they also serve as good trainer beginner planes and are more docile compared to our 32/34" aerobatic designs.
Our kits are precision laser cut and include a tailored hardware kit that makes assembly a breeze. Guessing on where the carbon reinforcements go are things of the past thanks to the pre-determined trussing locations and pre-cut carbon extrusions.
All 6mm kits also come with their hinges pre-beveled and taped with 3M's 1" wide Blenderm, so no more hassle when it comes to cutting hinge-lines. Making your time to gluing and rigging up the airframe that much quicker.

When it comes to designing foamies we want to bring aesthetically pleasing, accurate looking profiles to the table without compromising on flight characteristics and performance. Rare Bear has an iconic look and it translated oh so well in this flat foam rendition. Uniquely designed with a separated, high position stab, this Bearcat looks the part when it comes to the scale looks and also feel.
With the elevator in a scale position, you can feel the difference compared to a normal foamie where everything is in the thrust line. FoamBear grooves well in those classic Reno circle patterns as well as traditional 2 pole pylon. It doesn't stop there, mellow flying for beginners, pylon racing with your buddies at your local flying field, or tossing some rifle rolls and pop tops; 30" FoamBear does it all!
